A wide bowl full of fruit, chips, or candy can draw the eye and make a statement. Make your own grand serving bowl with this demonstration of wrist-friendly techniques for centering and opening large balls of clay, ways to deal with gravity to flare out and shape the rim of a bowl, timing and methods of trimming and forming a narrow base. Techniques can be used for all sizes of bowls. This is an intermediate level class.  Bring your pottery tools to class.
