18 yrs & up

This class will focus on the use of various pen and ink techniques including stippling, directional scribbling, hatching, cross hatching and scumbling. During this class, students will learn about and experiment with line and shading techniques in pen & ink to create the illusion of form, texture and value. Using only a simple pen, the variety of expression is endless. For students of any level. Improve existing skills or acquire new ones!

6/12minimum 6/ maximum 12 students

Materials list:

Sakura Pigma Micron Pens: Set Of 3 Point Sizes, Black — One each of 01 (0.25 mm), 03 (0.35 mm), and 05 (0.45 mm). 

9” x 12” Smooth Bristol Pad

Kneaded Eraser and/or vinyl eraser

Drawing Pencils - HB, 2B
