Tie-Dye is an ancient art-form dating back thousands of years and found in cultures all over the world.  It involves folding, twisting or bunching cloth, and then binding it to maintain a resist during the dying process. After the dye sets, the fabric is rinsed and the binding removed. Then a "TA DA" moment to reveal an amazing, one-of-a-kind piece of art you can be proud to wear or frame and hang on the wall. In this class, we will explore some of the endless possibilities for creating unique patterns in fabric through manipulation, binding and dye, and we will create a tye-dye masterpiece.  Open to all skill levels.  Bring one or two garments made of 100% cotton or rayon.  Wear clothes you don't mind getting permanent dye on.
