In this creative mixed media painting class students will explore how to combine painting and collage to create layered expressive artwork while looking at a still life.  Using acrylic paint along with paper, textiles and other collage elements we will build compositions that blend color shape and imagery.  A materials list will be provided.  Open to all skill levels.  Please bring an easel to class or let us know if you need to borrow one.

Please keep in mind before you purchase materials that the class may not yet be confirmed.

Please bring the following items to class:

Collage scraps, fabric and color painted paper (instructor will also bring materials for collage).

Scissors

Matte medium

Tape 

Acrylic paint

Container for water

Paint brushes, assorted sizes

Canvas (at least 16”x20”) Wood panel is best

Old Painting brush for gluing
